Chelmsford Round Table is heavily involved organising and carrying out various fundraising activities.  Below is a list of our larger events:

Chelmsford Firework Display

The event boasts many thousands of pounds of fireworks and involves many people in crowd control, stewarding and supervision.

Traditionally the event has raised many thousands of pounds, which are typically donated to local charities.

Christmas Santa Sleigh

Each year we accompany Santa on his rounds of Chelmsford's streets and estates visiting children and collecting money for charity.

Traditionally the money raised by the Santa's Sleigh has been used to fund an annual Christmas Party for the needy old folk of Chelmsford.

Children’s Wish

Once a year we hold an event in aid of Round Table Children's Wish.

RTCW is a registered charity that grants Wishes to children throughout Great Britain and Ireland who are aged under 18 and are suffering from life-threatening illnesses. The aim is to fulfil a child's secret dream whether it is to meet their own heroes and idols from the worlds of sport, television and popular music, or perhaps to give them the opportunity to swim with dolphins, have a ride in a sports car or even make a parachute jump. For others, a quiet holiday with family members or the gift of a computer or playhouse may be their ideal Wish.
