Our Senior Citizens Christmas Party
Every year we hold a Christmas party at st Peter's college in Chelmsford for some of the elderly people of Chelmsford, we personally invite in the region of 170 people with around 120 able to attend on the day, guest are personally picked up from their homes by Round Table volunteers in a fleet of mini buses and cars.

The party starts at around 12-15pm and all guests are greeted with a glass of sherry and shown to their table.
At 1pm guest are served Christmas dinner and a glass of wine by members of Chelmsford round table all dressed in black tie and dinner suit to make the day more memorable.

Between 2-30pm and 4pm there is various musical entertainment which is followed by tea, mince pies and bingo which is played between 4pm and 4-30pm with the numbers called by our current chairman with a variety of prize's on offer, we also have a raffle between 4-30 and 5 pm with all guests provided with tickets with lots more prize's to be won.
At 5pm guest are personally taken back and seen safely into their homes.

Chelmsford round table receive assistance on the day from,
Chelmsford ladies circle no 182, St john's ambulance and local groups who provide us with mini buses.
With the meals being cooked by the dinner ladies of st Peter's college in Chelmsford we are now in our Eleventh year of doing this and hopefully all our guests have enjoyed a full day of Christmas cheer with all the costs being funded by the efforts of the Santa's Sleigh runs made around Chelmsford on the run up to Christmas by the members of Chelmsford round table no 132 and ladies circle no 182.
